KEEDY ~ HOWELLS Line

Jean's grandfather was Francis Herbert Keedy. Her "Keedy" ancestors were living in the Tyneside area in the 18^th and 19^th centuries, and some members of the family were Presbyterian ministers.

Jean's grandmother was Margaret Eliza Merrick (Howells). In the 19^th century the "Howells" line were iron workers originating from South Wales. Her Merrick grandfather was a builder from Shropshire.
